You'd have to have programs that let you specifically set which sound card driver they use to use the non-primary.

I just don't really understand why you'd want to bother. I can only come up with a single possible use for such a thing, and I can come up with a dozen or so better methods for doing that.

hey seriously..im asking this because i want two whole chanels to be recorded one for mic and the other for an acoustic guitar which must use a mic input... i dont have a pickup otherwise i could just patch right into lineinput..
