Hi,
I'm considering the Fuji s5200, but am concerned about not finding any info on whether it allows for manual macro focus? I had a chance to play with a display model and was unable to locate an override for the auto macro.
While the auto macro may do a fine job most of the time, I can't believe that it will be 100% correct all the time, and my previous camera, a Canon Powershot A60 had the ability to override auto focus, something I found I used quite a bit. So it's an important feature.
I've even looked up the manual on Fuji's site but see no mention of anything like it.
Being unfamiliar in another brand other than Canon, or in the latest advancements in digital cameras, maybe now it's under a _different name_?

The User's Manual has some information on pages 45 and 46.
But it does not say specifically that the manual focus will work in macro mode.
To get a knowledgeable answer, you will likely have to contact Fujifilm.
