After reading the following quotation from a article, please list some of the possible drawbacks and benefits that come to mind:
“In 15 years' time, when everything from shoes to shirts to sunglasses could well contain tiny wireless chips, people may use their phones to communicate with objects as well as talking to people, suggests Mr Lindoff. You could then use a search engine not just to find information on the internet, but to find objects in your home. ‘I want to search my home via Google—I want to find my green shirt,’ says Mr Lindoff.”
"Laptops" haven't been manufactured for about 16 years. "Laptops" were several inches wider than notebooks - so they could fit on people's laps. Then, they were made smaller and more compact and the new models were named "notebooks". The editors at CNET don't know this but now you do. BTW, never, ever buy a Gateway - even when a Gateway works, it doesn't work right.
that's the most random company-bashing i've even seen...
I'm not kidding--that's why she selected Gateway. Anyway, she has been very happy with her Gateway lapbooknotetop thingy.
