When sites are slow in coming up...
by joninray - 12/9/06 7:02 PMI used to be able to surf the net in great speed. My laptop isn't slow, but it seems that some sites are really slow in coming up...pictures AND text. I have tried aot of things but if anyone has any suggestions and/or the same problems, please help.
My wife's computer (a desktop) is on the same dsl router and shows no sign of the probelms I have. In fact on sites that I tried to login on but couldn't, I can and have no problem with on hers.

Did you do that?
If so what was the result from each test?

And I apologize about starting the new thread...didn't mean to do that.
I am about to resort to rest the whole laptop and I really don't want to do that.
