Tom, thank you for that beautiful tribute to James Kim, and thanks to all of CNET for the wonderful video remembering him. We're all thinking about you and praying for Kati and her family.

Could someone from Cnet, put a download link on the video. I only have a 26.0 kb connection and am not able to watch it unless I can download it.
If you look at the top right corner of the Cnet TV page there is an RSS link (hover to bring up the menu, then click "Copy URL"). Now use a podcatcher.
If you have iTunes, under Advanced, click Subscribe to Podcast... and paste in the URL you copied above. The newest item in the feed is the video, so it will start downloading unless you changed the default settings.
Tom, I know this sounds a little weird, but will you be adding the eulogy/tribute video to any of the podcasts?
If not, no worries... heaven knows you have enough to deal with at the moment.
to CNET for the eulogy and the video collage of James Kim in his memory. I was brought to tears at work by Tom's poignant eulogy, while seeing James on the screen made me smile.
He will truly be missed.
I still can't bring myself to type everything I want to say. I feel like I'm still in a state of shock.
I'm 22, a guy, in England, having never met James, having never stepped foot over the Atlantic, but this morning I sat and I cried at my desk. The personalities and homeliness of CNET are as familiar to me as my best friend's face. A friend telling you a friend has died; how do you respond when you've shaken hands with neither? This morning I realised how.
Tom, your eulogy is testament to the love James clearly had and obviously deserved.
God bless, always.
Nate.
I was reading the latest News.com article on James and just by chance, "Over The Rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole was playing on my iTunes and it was just too sad and I started crying. The whole tragedy is just too sad.
My family thinks it strange I'm getting so worked up over somebody I never met, and probably never would, but like you said, louse, the people of CNET are like friends to me.
I have realized it is nothing to be ashamed of. It is plain to see that we all feel the same way. Although we have never met them, We have watched/listened to them everyday, and in a more informal sense than we listen to most editors/news anchors. Something about a podcast/videocast and the way they talk to the audience as if they were talking to their friends.... it makes you start to like them. =)
I feel as if I have lost a good friend, and I can only send my best wishes and prayers to his "real" family and friends that knew him personally. It must be hitting them twice as hard.

Losses are hard, and I really feel for James's family. In a position like he had, you never know how many people you'll connect with. Obviously, I never knew him. I could tell, though, that he really enjoyed his work, and really enjoyed sharing that with his kids.
A wonderful, heartfelt eulogy--I could see what effort it took for Tom to hold himself together. We work so hard (I'm thinking of men in particular) to try to hold ourselves together at times when we're torn apart, and it's somehow even more wrenching to see the effort it takes. Sometimes it's more than we can do, and it's always heart-wrenching for me to see. I could see that happening to Tom at the very end.
My condolences to James's family and to all those who got to work with him.
Tom...your work on the video was incredible, but your BOL post...damn, it scares me, James is dead. Well done, you served his memory well. I love your work, I am so sorry for your loss, because it is my loss too.
GREAT job Tom. Don't know how you got through that=(
Rick
Thank You so Much Tom.
Thank you so much Tom. I know it took a lot of courage to strength to be able to do what you did in this very sad time.
My thoughts are with James Kim's family and friends. If there's anything BOL listeners can do to help, please let us know.
