Hi all,
I would like to know If there would be any actual visible performance Difference between the above Processors. The one marked in "THE ONE I SELECTED" is what I have currently selected. But having the cost factor in mind I am still thinking about it. Its not like I am a big gaming freak nad use High end processes. But then I dont wanna sacrifice too much also. So please suggest me appropriately.

bothers you, don't do it! Speed bumps in a CPU family have surprisingly limited, day-to-day performance effect on a system's response. For most workloads, Intel's CPUs seldom run at their max frequency and cache size for more than a few seconds, if that much. The satisfaction you will get from maxing out the CPU choice is peace of mind knowing that it can't get better, until the next gen CPU launches.
Get **at least** 1024MB mem.
The bump in speed is not only a linear function of raw GHz but the bump in L2 cache pays back too. I'll not write exact numbers but over at Tomshardware.com they did a MOTHER OF ALL CPU CHARTS and you can dig for that if you want an idea that this is a great idea if you are trying to eek another year out of the machine before you replace it.
