Norton Removal

Tool called the Symantec Removal Utility from Symantec. You can download it from the site for free & it's only 601KB. I have use it and it WORKS great. You might have to search for it.

Dell/Norton does not uninstall with Norton removal tool

It asks for a password to remove. You can take away every possible Norton file on the PC you can find, but you can not get rid of the Dell/Norton antivirus. This blocks you from installing NIS2007 or any other Nortion Antivirus product.
That is why it is easier to just quit using Norton, which I have used for 20 years.
