I got the update to install IE7, downloading was no problem, but when it started installing, it started at 10 pm and in the morning when I got up at 7 am it was still installing? I disabled my virus, even though I didnt want to. What is the problem. I have Windows Xp/2000 with the service pack 2. Never had a problem updating before. I know it is suppose to be a large file but that long of a install?
It took me only a few minutes and then several more for the install to finish up.
Are you getting it direct from the Microsoft site? or in Windows Updates?
