Where to get old IE6?
by bigusiak - 11/1/06 9:53 AMDont install IE7 its a lot of problems. After uninstaling the last one the 6 also stop working properly. The resize function mostly dont not work. The cache also not clearing as need to be. DONT INSTALL IE7!

i went and downloaded where you said to go, i rebooted but still had ie7, whats up? i would really like to have ie6 back.

You must remove IE7 first...

You cannot overwrite IE7 with IE6 because the former is newer than the latter, so you must completely uninstall IE7 before you can run the IE6 installer. The download of IE6 is only applicable if you uninstall IE7 using Add/Remove Programs or remove it manually and find that IE6 was not automatically restored or has become corrupt.
