Someone said a keylogger can be on a website and be downloaded automatically onto your computer to have your keystrokes remotely logged. Is this true?
It's called a drive-by download, and isn't necessarily a keylogger...it could be advertising software, a virus, or 'adult content.' That''s why you should make sure you're always up-to-date with your security software (firewall, antivirus, and antispyware), make sure the real-time protection is running, and be careful of what sites you go to, what e-mails you open, and what you click on.
