Very basic XP security question.

If I am behind a firewalled router, I log in with a long password, and none of my ports are "exposed", then how could someone from outside compromise my system?

You could view a malicious site or view some email.

Witness that recent VML exploit. There are still more like that.



Let's bottomline this. There is no current bullet proof protection from all exploits. This is why Windows users have to be careful as well as be armed to the eyeballs.
