New cellphone, can't load MP3s

by canenns - 9/14/06 10:59 AM

I am currently in Korea and bought a new ev-k130(EVER) phone from KTF with 165MB of internal memory. I am having trouble loading MP3s onto the phone, it appears it will only accept paid-for songs from the company. Is there any way to bypass this or anything that I am missing in order to put my MP3s onto the phone? The preloaded MP3s are in .KMP(company) format on the phone, and I can use the phone as a flash drive putting files on the phone, I just can't play them. Thanks a lot.

I am in Korea as well and have purchased the same phone. I know it will play music from the ever site (to be paid for). I am having trouble hooking it up to my macbook. It is recognizing the hook-up yet there is no application to download the pics or store files, etc. Any help with this would be great. Thanks. I will also ask my wife to hook it up to her computer to see if we cant get her songs to lay. Will keep you posted.
