Hey guys,
My background: I got a Creative Zen Micro for the holidays in '04. I was pretty pleased with it, for 10 months...then the usual ''headphone jack problem'' occured. Apparently this happens every once in a while with creative products. I ended up replacing this same player 2 or 3 times in about 6 months, between headphone jacks and a non-working hardrive or something. 2 family members both have Creative Zen MicroPhotos, and they work fine. I recently upgraded to a Vision: M last May. It was working fine until tonight, when the headphone jack had the same problem I got almost 11 months ago. Now I'm really starting to hate creative, or I've found that I have terrible luck. I'm going to contact Creative, but in the case that this ongoing sequence doesn't stop, I'm wondering a good non-Ipod or Sony device that would play WMP's like the Creatives. Any suggestions?
Theres the Zune coming out but i don't know if that's good.
I used to own a Sony NW-HD05. 20G, excellent battery life but one drawback is that it doesnt have a lot of features such as Radio. Only music play and the buttons look cheap but have good response. I use it for a year and NOTHING has gone wrong.comes with cover, charger, usb. unlike Ipod which has NO CHARGER... Also the Sony player has little accessories.
30hrs music play
bright screen
anti-scratch/anti-finger print paint
reliable and robust
excellent value
G-shock sensor
User-replaceable battery
If you like the look you should get it.
Sounds cool. Do you know if it plays Windows Media Player files (like the MSN music type)? And, do you know if it's in America? I did a google search and couldn't find one here.
