No Problem

Considering that most Vizios are sold by Costco, if one actually fails, it can be returned for a refund!
Sadly Costco's generous return policy is badly abused by the unethical: Note the huge collection of big-screen monitors of all types piled up in the Returns Department in the week after EVERY "Big Game"!
No doubt this unethical practice will cause Costco's return policy on TVs to change, just as it already has with computer systems, which now have a six-month limit on no-quibble returns (the balance of the manufacturer's warranty/service policy kicks in after six months) vs. the previous full year year for "defective" returns. Too many miscreants were returning their systems within the fifty-second week, just to get an essentially free upgrade to the "latest/bestest".

They got me

Was in Costco today and that Panasonic 50" plasma was down to 1999.99 after a coupon good for today only. I headed home and got the PU truck and loaded it up. Now I have to break the news to my 42 incher. Also ordered the new Dish HD receiver with the HD DVR and the new HD package with an extra 25 stations that I will not watch in HD. Bab news is it will be almost Christmas before I get it.
