USMT Error=1332 Need quick tip!

by p_custodio - 10/3/06 12:40 PM

Hi there, I am learning MSCE (70-270) and am struggling
with USMT.

Just to make this clear, I cannot use USMT with 2 virtual
machines connected via a Workgroup, can I? I need a
Domain, right?

Cheers,

Paulo

Both machines are on a workgroup, different usernames (logged), both XP Pro (both are virtual machines). Both user accounts exist on both machines.

I am using the cmd with the following command inside the USMT folder:

scanstate /i migsys.inf /i miguser.inf /i sysfiles.inf Z:

I mapped the Z: drive to the other machine on the workgroup, but then this error occurs and it tells me to check the log. The log states Error=1332.

Am I doing something wrong here?

Cheers,

Paulo
