Submit your recommendations: Bookshelf stereo system

by highlander2000 - 10/1/06 11:16 PM

Hello all,

I'm in the market for a new bookshelf stereo system. Here are the features I am interested in (or not interested in, as written):

-CD (changer preferred, not necessary)
-CD-R playback
-cassette = not interested in this, but will take system if cassette featured
-detachable speakers
-auxiliary input (RCA red/white component preferred, but I can always buy adapters and cords to suit the system)
-SD card reader - preferred
-MP3 AND WMA playback (via CD or SD card)
-Micro or Mini-size preferred, but "standard" size OK
-Digital Tuner
-Digital EQ preferred
-Price - Under 200 US Dollars

Now, I know there could be difficulty in finding a system to match these qualifications. So, please recommend any and all systems that you feel warrant my attention.

I will disclose that I have been considering the Panasonic SC-PM71 bundle system, but I do not like the bundled portable mp3 player at all.
