Transferring contacts
by mhuleatte - 10/1/06 3:35 PMMy daughter's LG VX3200 display has died and she needs the contacts that are on that phone. Is there a cost effective way to transfer them to her new VX8300 short of buying two sets of data cables and software? Is it even possible to transfer the information if I can't see the display?

It also appears that the 3200 and 8300 cannot use the same cable. I can buy two cables if necessary but would like to avoid the expense since the 3200 is unusable at this point.

Are the contacts not saved at the SIM card which I suppose will be reused ? Try the shop which sold you the new phone. They, or a computer services shop, may be able to so something - at least they have better facilities like cables,...
