I understand that adverstising dollars can sometimes play a part on what is reviewed. On the other hand, to keep a non-partial judgement on products give your readers more power to make the best choices in the arena. Therefor making your informational site that much more valuable to return tech surfers.
What I'm hoping to see and hear is more of the 'other' brand of security suites be reviewed, interviewed, and included in podcast discussion.
Companies such as Symantec and McAfee. Or the firewall of Zone Alarm. The big boys who crediably, and arguably are the best. Yet, products with very close ratings and sometimes better such as Panda, BitDefender, Trend, or FSecure, don't get spoken about. Less articles. Less frontline talk from your techs and podcasts. Fewer reviews, tips, and product testing. When we need more or close to equal to keep them on a fair playing ground.
Negative or Positive reviews aren't the issue. Just more variety security. In different areas along your website and podcasts would be welcome.
I've used the big boy security suites and found comfort in the 'other' brand that isn't so much bloatware or systemware. Yet don't hear about it or news updates on thier fronline battles in the US or abroad.
There are so many security products in the market but if one realize it is the the big boys who got their toy being review first.... What happened to the smaller companies who do not have such capital to market their products. Do give them a chance.
