Hey all, I'm looking for a new MP3 Player... non-ipod.
I just wanted some BOLer's opinions, because I'm sure you guys have had actual first-hand experiences with one, or possibly both players.
So... the SanDisk Sansa e200 series, or Creative Zen V Plus?
Thanks!
Dude..hear the same mp3 file on both the players and you will be surprised how lively the music will sound on the creative.....and plus thy have been in music since quite sometime now unlike sandisk...Go Creative ![]()
but the sansas are really nice too. also, the samsung yp-k5 is awesome. i'm doing a Prizefight video between the Samsung YP-K5 vs. the Sansa e280 next week.
V
Veronica... you can't tell me that you like both of them! AND add another option! I'm trying to narrow it down here! =(
the sansa has some nano prolems like scratches and broken screens.. no?
Creative if you don't care for size, and want something that plays video with out converting. However, that said I think the Zen Neeon http://www.dapreview.net/comment.php?comment.news.3505
Unless you need 6 or 8gig of space at a good price then I go with Creative.

But then again the E series has price and space going for it. 8gig yes.
The Sansa plays video in their own format. While both Creative players(the Zen V plus and Neeon2) play divx, avi and WMV files just like the ZVM and ZV/W. Not sure mpeg4. But you can fairly easily convert it to divx with divx converter.
At Buy.com, paid $139, including shipping, gift for my 10-year-old daughter. So far, a SOLID, amzaingly well programmed little gem.
I think I may have to ground her and take it from her...
Sole criticism -- no external power for play, charging, other than the USB.
Bonus -- no external power adapter to lose.
:-D
