I'm taking an online course from C-Net "PC Protection 101" when I print
the 6 lessons, some text is not printed completely on right edge of
document, as many as 4 -8 words some times omitted as compared to what
appears on my monitor. They do not have a "Printer Friendly" version to
click on or "Print here". I'm using Internet Explorer 6, Windows XP,
Using HP 8250 printer .I tried landscape mode to no avail, I went to
file, page setup, changed the margins, to 0.13 in. and changed text
size to smaller. But still cannot print complete text.
I have run into this problem many times & usually just gave up. Pleae advise. thank you Lydia
It's been around for as long as I can remember. Long story short, you'll need to use a different browser, like Firefox... You can also try printing it in landscape mode, but IE also truncates at the bottom of a page.
Try this. In IE go to view in the menu bar. Scroll down
to text size and check out the size. Change to medium or small if large is checked.
Highlight the text you want to print, RIGHT click it, click COPY, paste it to WORDPAD, then print from Wordpad. ( you can scroll down if there are several pages)
Also, if you get something you don't want to print, you can EDIT it in Wordpad.
I do this on almost everything I want to print from the web.
Hope this helps.
