Wii games WILL be Region-Locked
by lyard3518 - 9/16/06 8:15 AMIt now looks like the Wii won't have region-free games. I feel this is a bad move by Nintendo. There are so many good games that are released in Japan that either take forever to come to the other regions or never come at all. I only see region-locking as a way for game distributors to charge different prices for games in different regions. Ohh well, I guess the PlayStation 3 will be the only region-free console.
