I was answereing the persons question

by pnaustx - 9/16/06 6:13 AM In reply to: I doubt InPhonic has changed its ways by dayzees13

I agree. I did receive my rebate (read my posts) but not until after I had fought very hard for them, and would never recommend InPhonic to anyone. I was simply answering the previous person's question. Too many people get on these forums and are quick with a remark but don't read what other's posts are in reference to.

I'm on your side and just wanted to reiterate what everyone else has been saying. I have been reading these forums for months. I think you just misunderstood me.

Your missing the point dufas

by mandarn - 9/26/06 9:07 PM In reply to: You people are not answering my question by eeo1973

The point is they are using false advertising; and I had to pay $400 US dollars for my phones; the point is that after 180 - 210 days of use I would get my $400 back and they lied and should be punished. Thats the point dufas, T

YOU'RE missing the point...

by eeo1973 - 9/27/06 6:05 AM In reply to: Your missing the point dufas by mandarn

...By lashing out at someone who is asking a perfectly honest question. I was unaware this forum was for kindergarteners. I think I will try to find an adult forum and hopefully an honest answer without any attitude attached to it. If you really want this company to pay for their scam, you should help to educate consumers like myself, not insult.

The Scam Is that Promises Weren't Kept

by jsbx747 - 12/20/06 11:55 PM In reply to: You people are not answering my question by eeo1973

Hi,
I wouldn't mind it Wirefly had said up front that the phone would cost $200. What I mind is that they promised a rebate, made me take the time to follow all their steps, then (for the first 3 tries) didn't make good on their promise. If they can't make money by "selling" free phones, they shouldn't offer the "service." My ethical belief has always been that one shouldn't make promises one can't keep, and one should make good on one's promises once they're made.

evil does not do that

Calirodan, evil doesn't follow your ethical belief, unfortunately. we have to fight back to protect what we trust in.

Thanks,

rebate Wirefly

by bg3570 - 9/15/06 1:29 PM In reply to: Important Inphonic Wirefly Rebate scam information by arch983

Boy...I am really glad that I read these reviews!! I was considering buying one of these phones....But, I was trying to figure out the catch also. I figured there had to be one. The fact that they are offering this upfront, free, so I figured you must have to pay something first besides the activation fee and the shopping and handling!! Thanks so much for the information.......granlov5

Inphonic rebate problems

by stanpaw - 9/20/06 5:23 PM In reply to: Important Inphonic Wirefly Rebate scam information by arch983

For everyone's information, I've filed a class action suit against Inphonic in US District Court in Washington. I can't comment on the litigation, but it should be pretty obvious what its about.

Scammed by Cell Phone Rebate

by dvan0001 - 12/16/06 7:36 AM In reply to: Inphonic rebate problems by stanpaw

I have also been scammed by cell phone rebates. Could you please let me know how I could join a class action lawsuit? I sent in a rebate on May 6, 2006 for a phone that I bought October 16, 2005 and I have not received the $250 rebate check. I have called the company 12 times and they give me the runaround everytime, saying that all of the information is being reprocessed.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Hannah

InPhonics

by mcgovern123 - 12/18/06 2:32 PM In reply to: Inphonic rebate problems by stanpaw

I am one of the growing list of people who were scammed by the InPhonic rebate offer. I purchased 2 Motorola cellphones and a Verizon plan last Spring and still have not received rebates for the 2 phones. Anybody know the latest? Is there a class action suit I can sign up for? How do I do that?

Unfortunately Cingular wireless has signed a 3 year extension with these lowlifes. Also they are rumored to be doing business with Best Buy. I will not be buying anything from either one of these companies and urge you to do the same and tell everyone you know to avoid both these companies as well.

Unfortunately Delta airlines has gotten in bed with these lowlifes also. Fly another airline! Also they will be holding propaganda festivals at these times and places...leaving out the small detail they owe millions in rebates of course! Maybe someone can stop by and disseminate the truth.

If you live in Florida and have been scammed by the lowlifes, good news they are being investigated by the Economic CRIMES devision of the Florida Attorney General!

Bad news is their website announces a new contract to provide Staples phones.
Is there anyone who cares this is a scumbag bunch of criminals who report millions in losses each year?
