I've been using FF for 2-3 years and recently began having trouble with it for the first time. Version 1.5.0.6 just doesn't behave for me. Pages don't render correctly, images don't show up, pages take too long to load, etc.
I discovered and began using SeaMonkey a couple of weeks ago and so far so good. It's MUCH faster than Firefox and all web pages load correctly and images show up.
I use the Firefox 1.5.0.6 at home and I have to use
IE 6.0 at work. I use firefox because I like the tabbed
browsing and other features.
Transferred from Netscape 7 to Firefox when it was still at the Phoenix Beta. Liked it immediately, faster, less bloat and way more secure than IE. I just progressed with it - I do have Firefox 1.5.0.6 loaded, just in case I run into a problem with the beta but so far, with both Bon Echo alpha and FF 2 Beta 1, I haven't had to.
I still use IE to check Windows Update but nothing else. (yes, I know there is a Firefox extension!).
And I have used Konqueror on SuSE Linux. I like the integration (equivalent to Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer) but overall, I prefer Firefox, teamed with Thunderbird and Sunbird, of course.
I can also recommend Firefox Portable and Thunderbird Portable - a USB memory key is a lot easier to carry than a laptop!
I like the tab features better than IE 7. Its faster than IE.
Bruce M.
Firefox, because I can write and see well in foreign languages like Polish
I had a payed subscription (now free) since the beginning for 4 main reasons :
out if principle
its stability
small footprint
user friendliness
I mostly use FireFox. Except when I want to run streaming video like news programs . The reason being is that I get too many missing plugin notices when I try to run them in FireFox. With IE 7 I don't have that problem. Also IE 7 has gotten much better at handling problems assocated with earlier version. Also my IE7 has spell chech and some other new features I find handy. Actually I may start using IE 7 more now that I see it works so much better nowadays.
Ummm....shouldn't that be spell CHECK? Why did your browser not catch this typo? Just wondering.
He's Probably using Fire Fox
(on account of it not having Spell "Chech"
Anyways on the topic of Browsers
I used to use Avant (But its much slowr then it used to be)
Now I use Opera
And to be honest I Find it to be the Fastest Browser
Plus it too has "spell check"
Ohh and With Opera I get a 800kb/s download speed for sites like Rapid Share
I have 2.0Firefox,it's the GRATEST THING SLICED BREAD!!!
Very simple.
Fast, non-intrusive, smooth, highly customizeable, small footprint, & the very best download manager of all the browsers available..
Needs no added extensions to make it efficient.
has everything that's needed for me..
I download more than 6 files on Firefox, & my memory shoots up over 200,000k.
I can load 12 simultaneously with Opera & never go over 200,000k.
Very nice built in torrent app, & cool widgets...
Firefox 3.5.2 - because it is the fastest and easy the customize to make it look the way i want it.
Opera, Firefox, and Internet Explorer
I use Mozilla Firefox 5.0. It's fast!
---------------
I like NCIS 1-6 box set and Bones 1-4 dvd
I know all the Firefox fans will block their minds at this point, but Maxthon is really a better program in terms of speed, versatility, security, customization, and its wealth of tools to make data mining, social media, entertainment media, and searching the Internet a totally new, better experience.
(Don't miss the hybrid 3rd edition of Maxthon coming early in 2010.)
