Netscape 4.74
Because it is the only on that enables me to stop "Documents and Settings" taking control of my desktop and my e'mail.
With 4.74 I can pute Netscape on any partition I want and I can put my Mailbox on any partition I want.
"Documents and Settings" is the biggest pest Directory ever created on any Microsoft system since using Dos Version 2.
If I could find a way of destroying it on every installation that I am responsible for, I would.
I use My document, My Images, My audio and My video and My Programms, but I use it on a drive or partition, where I want it, and not where Gates wants it.
From our point of view, My documents in "Documents and Settings" is an absolute bain and disaster.
The biggest fault with it, is it sits on C:, which with a system setup designed to protect files and directories, C: is the worst place it can possibly be.
Lets face it C: is the most dangerous, the most volatile and the most corruptable partition on any system, it is in effect a death trap. And I do not want to loose all my mail and web material, irrespective of Backup procudures, because of "Documents and Settings". Prevention is better than cure.
i use maxthon and avant browers. find there tabing are much better
I've tried IE and FireFox and both have some nice features, but NetCaptor has the best of both worlds. Better tabbed browsing than FireFox and it works with sites created for IE. Everything about this browser is better than the others!!!
I just had firefox installed and loved it, but it did not do anything that opera can do. If you love firefox, download opera. Because opera is better.
I use Internet Explorer 6. Being a simple fellow, it does all I need.
I would use Konqueror all the time when I'm using Linux, except that it is not very well supported by sites such as Gmail. Still, I like how it mimics IE perfectly except for the points where IE stinks.
Opera works far better than Firefox on older Pc`s & is faster than the other browsers & has it`s own email client built in.
Security is better than the other browsers, the Opera download manager outperforms the competion as well.
If you had to use only 1 browser then Opera is THE choice
Internet explorer versikon 6.0
Because I am a microsoft fan and I figure why change what already works and I am very happy with. I also own a fairly new PC and really don't want to bog it down with something I really don't want. I have looked into firefox and most places I go on-line run better with the IE as they suggest.
I use IE 7 and the latest Firefox.I like them both.
I just downloaded the IE 7 Beta 3 browser and it is just as slow and undependable as IE has always been...
I am using Internet explorer 7 beta3.
I am getting sick and confused because off what everyboy says and wants and thinks what is the best.
See what you can use and what fits your needs.
The best product, you may think there ever will be one, is always in the future.
I switched to it about 3 years ago when MS was having so much trouble developing update patches to correct "holes' that could be used by hackers and others. I seldom use IE and more unless something comes that doesn't work proberly with FireFos.
