IE only when I must due to MS kludges
I've been using Netscape 8.1 and love it. I know it's based on Firefox but I like the UI better for my main computer.
On my laptop, I of course use Firefox. Can't wait for a stable 2.0 that accepts extensions.
Use Mozilla Firefox ver. 1.5.0.6 so the ms attackers won't get me.
Ithink yahoo&internet Explore7 ARE tyhe best vbrowsers Ihave used mist often Yahoo is the best one I have used.sofar.Iahve used stadock but Idon,t beleive it as easy AS yahho or internet explorer.form ramonrangel
I have IE 6 and it is OK. My ?. How do you get IE 7?

Click on the download button.
Thanks for the info; I tried IE 7 and it just didn't work for me. I also tried Opera and lordy! What a jumbled up mess of stuff. I never did figure out how to browse, even after going thru the tutorial. So I removed both of them and have gone back to my old standby, IE 6. I guess it's true: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Not that I would be able to read or understand it...
For F*cks Sack! What are you like 10yrs old?
Learn to type, or use the spell check in your "Google Toolbar". If you were smarter (we can tell you're not) you'd be using FF and not IE
Don't be so harsh on the poor guy, he was just drunk.
(Hiccup).
This guy isnt drunk, check his other posts.
It depends on which machine I'm on. On my laptop I've replaced Mozilla that comes with Debian Linux with Firefox. On my desktop machine I use IE,I would use Firefox also but it doesn't render some pages I frequent right, otherwise I would use Firefox exclusively
IE tab is an extension that allows you to view a page with the IE rendering engine. In addition, you can set some pages to default to the IE rendering engine to make things a bit easier. If you haven't tried it it may be the solution to your problems.
I really like using the tabs. It seems like it is a lwhole lot easier to keep track of the many pages I usually keep open.
I don't use many extensions yet, but I am starting to like Dragdego.
I have been using Slimbrowser since 2003 because it was mutli tabbed and this was before Internet Explorer or the yahoo multi tab extension became available for explorer.
I like the desing and the functionality of slimbrowser as well as the speed at which it launches on windows xp.
However, the latest updates for slimbrowser cause the browser to become unstable after it has been open for approximately 12 hours resulting in the browser reverting to some funky behavior and eventually not responding and shutting down. Good thing SlimBrowser comes equipped with a site saver that backs up all your open web sites if the browser is caused to terminte suddenly. This feature makes it easy to just pop all your web sites back up once you start the browser again.
I do like to have many web sites open all at once in multiple tabs (between 7-20 sites at a time) and I often leave them open for several hours at a time and even over night so this may create a heavy workload for the browser code that seems to become corrupt and create an unstable browser like I stated above, after about 12 hours. One way to get around this problem is to just restart the browser once in a while if you have had it open for several hours at one time.
Hopefully the slimbrowser developers are and will continue to work on this issue for future upgrade deployments.
Overall: cool browser
Glad to see there are a few other people out there that are smart enough to stick with a good thing when they find one. Been using SlimBrowser since about 2003 myself and have been perfectly happy with it's performance. Of course still being on dial-up I don't get the chance to let it run for 12-hours or more but then I don't need that either. I've found that letting the newest updates go by and living a version or two behind helps let the design team work out the bugs. Guess I just don't need to use the latest and greatest FF or IE.
