(If you already have a Chocolate, then skip this paragraph.) Hi I just got my LG Chocolate from Verizon wireless yesterday and I have to say that I love it. I was expecting it to be very scratch and fingerprint prone, but it turned out to be very durable and doesn't smudge as much as people say. Once you get used to the touchpad, it's awesome, and the camera has great quality. Well on to my question:
I am trying to put polyphonic ringtones on my phone (not a big fan of real music ringtones), and I am having a few issues with getting these ringtones. I am not opposed to the idea of buying ringtones, but VCast doesn't have the ringtones I'm interested in (mainly Rock/Metal ringtones). And I couldn't find polyphonic ones on VCast either.
So I downloaded the program "Tonethis" and after a few tries, I was able to send a .WAV file to my phone and set it as a ringtone. I was not able to, however, put another .WAV file on my phone after that. The error message I get (on my phone) is "Could not recieve message. Message size is too big". I tried to send a snippit of the .WAV file after that (it was less than 100KB in size) and it still wouldn't accept it. Does anyone who has "Tonethis" have any advice for me?
Now I have a question about the music essentials kit. If I purchased this kit would I be able to: A. Put a music file on my Chocolate and set it as a ringtone, and B. Take MP3 files from itunes and put it on my Chocolate? I have heard that you need to use Windows Media Player with the essentials kit in order for you to transfer music. Thanks in advance.
