trend PC cilliin shows MS06-033 in vulnerability check
by larryt2 - 8/5/06 4:54 PMrecently PC cillin shows MS06-033 when it runs vulnrability check I have when I ran windows update there was there was only one critical update. this was for microsoft .net I have tried to update this and it refuses to install thinking this was the cause of this showing up . I uninstalled .net or so I thought It still shows up in the services file and lets me disable , enable start and stop it . MS06-033 still shows up in vulnerability check in vulnerability check. I have one program that requires .net to run this is objectplacer for microsoft flight . It no longer runs. Now .NET framework 1.1 shows up in windows update but when I try to install it it fails .
Can anyone hepl me

by larryt2 - 8/5/06 9:14 PM In reply to: trend PC cilliin shows MS06-033 in vulnerability check by larryt2I managed to clean out all the registry entries and used some instruction on the microsoft website was able to reset everything and was able to download .NET framework 2.0 and the security update I "hepled" oops helped myself
