Easy to use. Don't really like the wheel on the Sansa. Also like the design of the Clix.
OK, so I've never owned an MP3 player before buying my Clix. Take that for what it's worth while reading my review.
I was however keeping up on all mp3 players because I did want one, there just wasn't anything to excite me & fit into my price range.
I definitely wanted it to play video though. A 3yr old daughter with another on the way & "home videos" to show was important. I'm also a big movie guy & if that was possible ...
Back to the review -
My Wife bought me a Nano for Father's Day but I knew that wasn't what I wanted.
As soon as this was available at Best Buy I checked it out. I knew this was what I wanted but was still hesitant. I finally pulled the trigger & could not be happier.
This thing Rocks.
Something that other people have mentioned is that you can't operate it with one hand. You can.
If you change the screen's orientation [one of the setting options] it is very easy to operate with one hand.
The Sound is great & I've definitely found the benefits of the equalizer options.
Here's a few points:
The screen is small [for watching video] but definitely not too small.
The 15fps is not very noticeble. Some people thought they would have issue with it.
Only charges via USB, I wish I could could charge it without a computer.
It's small in size but thick. I like that. The Nano was way too thin for me. I would be worried about snapping it. Fits very easily in a pocket & the locking feature is great in avoiding mistakes, especially since the screen is how you control everything.
I show this off all the time & people who have ipods & other players always are excited by form, function, etc.
The worst thing I could say about it is only 2gb without option for more.
I'm sure you've seen these but here are some of the reviews that I read when looking into purchasing:

I also looked into the Sansa models but chose to lean towards the clix after my research.
I know this wasn't much of a review but I did want to let you know that I'm extremely happy with the clix after almost a full month.
I'm only hoping for more accessories to be made now ...
iRiver products are known for having great sound quality. From what many people have said, the Clix is no exception. If you want, go to a best buy with a pair of your own headphones, and listen to the player yourself.
As for sounds, if you have powerful enough headphones, you're most likely to hear some sort of buzz, no matter what the player is.
Rumor mill has it that the 4gb clix is coming soon. I'm going to wait a couple weeks in hopes that it does.
Any official word about the whereabouts of the 4 gig Clix, like a web site that's mentioned it or anything?
Thanks
someone on anythingbutipod.com went to best buy and a best buy employee said they were getting a 4gb clix in a couple of weeks.
I doubt it though. Probably was confused, but who knows.
and the price isn't that bad, either.

I own a clix and I'm very happy with it.
-The clix has an armband so using it to work out wouldn't be a problem.
-The audio quality is great, I own a YP-T8 and compared to my clix it sounds awful, even tho its the same bit rate
-I had only had it for about a week so can't help u but they all come with a 1 year warranty.
-I also have an PSP messed it up because of I messed with the flash, anyways the videos are beautiful, I thought since it was 15 FPS it would lah but its just ass good, maybe better because of the screen.
-2GB is ok for me I right now have a movie "V for Vandetta" and have 77 songs, and 32 flash games and still have more than a gig left.
-U will need WMP to put music on, don't have to use it just have to have it installed, it comes with WMP11 which I like using, the only problem is that it doesn’t come w/ video converter but u can use Iriveter witch is free and Iriver is helping with, there’s a tutorial at iriveramerica.com, the GUI is beautiful u can change so that it displays horizontally or vertically can also change the background.

i just got this player nd i love it.
everything i asked for in one little thing.
and this has more memmory then the iriver clix.
I have the sansa e250 with 2gb after looking at this forum, but its a little hard to use. I'm trying to create a new playlist on the device, but when I look through my playlists on my device all I see is go list. Maybe the sansa e250 can't create playlists, but to me it's kind of a big deal since I love to organize things. I'm not sure if I'm doing this incorrectly.
The sansa e250 looks really sleek and its small so you can bring it around everywhere. The sansa e250 has everything a clix has except games. It shows videos and pictures. To me all I needed was space and 2gb was enough for me, but the clix was more money even though they had the same amount of memory.
I purchased the e250 a few weeks ago and at first glance, everything was great! Sooner or later, I started to notice songs that I transferred over went missing when searching in the mp3 player, but show up in windows explorer when browsing through the player's drive. I would delete the missing songs, and re-transfer and everything would be fine. (I did this just in case it was the file format that was the problem)
Contacted Sandisk with an email and so far no reply. I'm going to call them and I'll keep you guys posted.
if you have switched the player from MTP to UMS mode or vice versa, the song u loaded may not show immediately for your method of uploading was different. all you have to do is refresh the player's database. you can find a few tricks and tips for your player in the Forums section at the top of anythingbutipod.com's home page
