I have been looking for a camcorder now for several weeks and I am ready to buy. I thought I was set on buying the Sony DCR-DVD405. Now I am considering the Canon DC-40 as well.
I will be using this to record my children-nothing fancy...I already have a really nice digitial camera, so I am not concerned with using it for this function.
Also, I do not have the desire to do much editing-I really want something I can watch pretty much as soon as I am done recording.
With that being said-dvds for the sony can be reused but not for the canon? Is this true?
ANY thoughts welcome!
Thanks
