t809 ringtone problems...
by richard96816 - 7/19/06 8:03 PMSo i have created my own ringtones from music on my computer. I did so by changing the file formate from .mp3 to .3gp. When i go to set my ringtone the song will play back flawless. But once set and then when somone calls my phone it is all choppy. The music will cut in and out. I did the same thing with some of the rintones that come with the phone. No problem with thouse. Anyone know what the problem would be? to hight bit rate maybe? Hope somone can help. Thanks!
Oh and is there anyway to change my ringtone for incoming text messages?

But for text messages, you can only choose those 5 or 6 "chimes" they have, not any of the music or songs, which i didnt like either. but other than that, it's a great phone!!
