Sony was, overall, not clear what software would even work to print labels from SonicStage, let alone what they'd want to sell me. They also couldn't decide on which "department" could help me.
So I picked C|Net's two most popular CD label-maker downloads, asked questions to each of their tech departments, and selected Acoustica's CD/DVD label maker software for $20.
Their tech was instantly willing to simply answer the e-mail questions I asked instead of asking me to try the program for free -- making my own mistakes and wasting my time. I figure I'm paying not only for the software, but to learn from their experience and mistakes, not make my own mistakes unless I want to.
Their product works well, and the tech was willing to answer questions quickly and thoughtfully.
Just burned a CD with SonicStage 4.0, opened Acoustica and it read the playlist easily. Did a no-brainer test print and tomorrow I buy the CD labels on which to print.
Happy Camper.
