by hanriky - 7/13/06 6:55 AMI have upgraded firmware of my NWA1000 to v3 , then install Sonic Stage CP4. So far, it launch and tranfer songs much faster than Connect Player. But Sonic Stage CP does not support Chinese nor Japanese. Anyone know how to fix this?
Another thing is the import only rip the songs as ATRAC3 format by default, can I rip them as MP3? 'Cos only Sony player can read ATRAC3, right?
Last but not least, its maximum sound level is 30 but I can barely hear the songs when I am outdoor on streets or on a bus. Can this be fixed by upgrading firmware?

by u8myfoood - 7/15/06 5:30 PM In reply to: Sony NW A1000 by hanrikysony has a lock on the volume, so just google increase sony volume, and there are tutorials to unlock volumes, and the atrac thing, well that is the reason sony doesnt sell as well, just deal with it i guess, and rip using another program like real player, even the free verison rips into mp3...

THe player can enable MP3 to rip music, OK now.
Sound level, I am following steps provided by another reader.
Only Chinese and Japanese left, I hope there is a firmware to solve this.
So far, I am still enjoying ths player. Ipod only excels in its iTunes.
