Poor PS2 fanboy's

DS pwns psp (im not a nintendo fanboy either i have a game cube and ps2) Nam one good game for the PsP... trying... can't think of one can you.... didn't think so. The DS games maybe short and some 2D but they are fun and they are good party/alone games they work for everything. Also dont make fun of the touch screen. For 2 reasons.
1) Also trying to amke fun gamplay like the wii.
2) The PsP controler is a prtable PS2 controler missing one nubby thing ( Yes i took that from x-play)
All the psp titles are also ripped off the Ps2 except much crappier.

Good games for psp: Splinter cell essentials, armored core, metal gear solid, Dynasty worriors, field commander, godfather, GTA, and lots more. Contrary to popular belief, psp games also have free wifi gameplay. The touch screen was fun at firs, but now only replaces the control pad. Ds games are sooooo kiddy and most others suck (MP hunters and pinball rock on are good). Check the nin website if you dont believe me.

People didn't use to care about how gory or kiddy a game was, as long on at was fun, and ds has more fun than the psp easily. and don't get mad, I loved GTA, but the three friends I have have ds's too, and play ds way more, some don't even play psp even more.

-Metroid prime, super mario 64, phantom hourglass, nintendogs, animal crossing, Mario hoops 3 on3, and mario kart ds are all fully 3d games, and that was just off the top of my head.
-psp is not as powerful as the ps2, and has very long load times.
-the batter life sucks
-the analog stick is uncomfortable and is hard to actually utilize the analog control, I always end up pushing it the full way.
-loco roco for psp was sweet and wasn't 3d, so is the new super mario bros for DS.
-The ds takes about the same time to connect to wi-fi as the psp depending on the game and connection
-no games ported from ps2 were any good
-DS has many more must have titles, you can check any unbiased gaming website

PSP sucks, waste of money, even if the PSP games are longer the battery won't last long enough to get through it.
The DS is better hands down.

Now, most of those games you said are really bad.
-NSMB, its OK. But thats it.
-MPH. Hands down this game is awsome. Ive always thought so.
-RE. I watched a review of it on xplay. They said that the combat is terible, as are graphics, as are level designs. Also, the controlls are really messed up.
-Mega man. That cheezy show on cartoon network? OMG please. Im not even going to comment.
-Tetris. OH WOW. Ill just download it for my phone. Its probably cheaper too.
-Lost magic. Nothing against that game
-SFC. That game has graphics worse than tenchu dark secret. Plus, why should this game be any better than the past few star fox games.
-AW. Love it. Thats about it.
-Pokemon. I dont even pay atention to it anymore. I think those games suck.
Theres nothing new to them.

a lot of the games you have just dismissed are awesome games. you should really play them before you write them off!
It's unfortunate that the PSP is such a failure. a little competetition in the handheld world could have been very healthy.
haha maybe microsoft will relase a handheld gaming system that fits snugly into a suitcase. we can only hope they don't...

What I find interesting though is that Nintendo is positioning themselves not as a rival, but as an alternative or complementary unit. Their price point could allow for someone to own a 360 and Wii for the price of a PS3.
The PS3 and 360 seem to be the real head-to-head comp. They both want to be the center of your high def setup. 3rd parties are pretty much just porting their games over, much like the xbox and ps2. Xbox had better graphics, but it didn't come out on top. I think they'll provide the same gaming experience. As for price, a wifi connector and several yrs of xbox live will even off costs w/ the PS3 and their free online play.
The Wii on the other hand needs games specifically made for it. Ports won't work because the gameplay will be totally different. If you look at what EA is doing with Madden, it's very impressive and natural looking for the Wii. Easy games for anyone to pick up and play seem to be a good point, such as family gatherings or gettogethers with any friends, not just your gaming friends. The 1st party games are incredible, and people WANT to play their franchises, which always are great games and often reinvent themselves (and cheaper to buy than their comp.) But their online play is really limited (ds wifi), and you wonder how some games can be made successful (how will Fight Night be done? punching and ducking for 10 rounds would be brutal!) It's still the most innovative of the 3, and they're following their DS strategy, but 3rd party developers must be willing to innovate as well.

The technology on the wii is not state of the art as people claim! Its all tech from the early 90's that nin has put in a different box and called revolutionary!
You think that people want to play nins first party games? Kids and people that dont like violance maybe, but real gamers dont like mario/zelda/etc. The age of those games is over and nin refuses to admit that. They keep making sequal after sequal of mario. Not only that, but they make mario kart, mario soccer, mario golf, and alot more games tht have nothing to do with the character and his original game. Do you see any of the other consoles doing that... NO!! Xbox dosnt make Halo racing, or halo golf, or halo soccer. And sony dosnt make pointless sequals eigther. Nin has next to no third party support and after the console comes out, their going to lose even more.

The DS is also the weaker handheld console and its kickin psp's ass by the millions. N64 was the sronger console between the psone and itself but the playstation won big time. The next generation the wii is a weaker console, so if history reapets itself the weaker wii is gonna win the next generation. I love sony I own everyone of its console but this time They threw away what made them agreat choise and added a bunch of crap you don't need in a game system. The exact same dissapointment with the psp, it added abunch of junk and threw away what made its game system a good choice, great games for a reasonible price.
