windows explorer error
by rayfellers - 7/5/06 5:58 PMi keep getting a message saying windows explorer has encountered an error and needs to close, i get it every time i open any folder, and then they close, i cant get to open any of my files, i have xp pro with SP1a installed. any ideas how to fix this?

the shell stopped unexpectedly and explorer.exe was restarted.

got the same issue
by notgonnatellya - 7/11/06 6:55 PM In reply to: windows explorer error by rayfellersclicking "file" closes the explorer windoew, right clicking any item on the left closes the explorer window. Sometimes it fixes itself, sometimes it doesn't. Quite annoying.
