can't hear
by 50William - 6/27/06 11:34 AMI HAVE WINDOWS 2000 AND WHEN I PLAY CD IN THE CD DRIVE I CAN HEAR IT FINE BUT WHEN I DOWNLOAD MUSIC OR PLAY GAMES THERE IS NO SOUND

In either case check in Device Managre for any "Splats" indicating sound driver problems.
Double Click on the sound icon next to the clock & check the settings
Get back with any further info
