It's me again, with the same story. I ordered a digital camera for a graduation present back in may. Everytime I email them letting them know that I still haven't received my camera, they email me saying that my order was shipped back to them for ''no reason'' then they say that they have reshipped it. Depending on what day you email them, they send you a different mass email reply. I have filed a police report, I encourage everyone to do the same. I doubt I will ever see my 400 dollars again but hopefully something will be done.
My mom and I have pretty much accepted we were ripped off.
I did file a report with the BBB in New York though.
I am more upset for the people who spent more than I did. I mean $239.00 is a lot, don't get me wrong but so is $800, $500, and such.
I remember the 2nd email I received from them and it seemed fishy to me. It was a typo in the subject line but I figured, "Well, they're a small company and whoever did it was just typing too fast. No big deal." ::sigh::
We should have just canceled our check right then.
I am in the same boat as a lot of the people are in this forum. I made an order a few weeks ago and have not heard from them since. I sent in one inquiry that was replied to but I suspect that was to keep me from cancelling my check. We do need to make sure that others are not duked like we were. I think that the people who have posted that they have received their orders are also in on this scam. There is no way that anyone could have actually received an item from this fraudulent company; PERIOD!!!!
File police reports, internet fraud and anything else. Those sc*mbags.
Well for you punks, you can be assured that we are coming after you.

We will see If I get a refund!!!!
I suspect they are just buying time to get out of town. I spoke to the storage company that hosts the PO box and she told me this guy gave the box to somebody else and closed his account.
I doubt there is a "sheryl" or a "kyle". THere is one sharp kid probably who figured out a scam hot to rip people off.
Notice they never return your calls, and you get canned emails? They have stopped replying to my emails altogether, as my tone has been very matter of fact and threatening. We're going to need multiple people to call the computer crime line to get this guy investigated and thrown in jail.
contact information please post!
I was scammed by these guys as well. Here are a few places I plan to report them to. I encourage others to do the same, since the authorities are more likely to go after these guys if they establish a pattern. (Including the URL to this thread in any complaints might also help.)
1. Better Business Bureau metro NY
http://www.newyork.bbb.org/home2.aspx
2. Federal Trade Commission Consumer Complaint form
https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/wsolcq$.startup?Z_ORG_CODE=
3. FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (develops and refers complaints to local, state, and national law enforcement level as appropriate)
http://www.ic3.gov/
I would still be interested in the police report contact info. as well.
Thanks. Best to all.
This is not my first bout with internet fraud. Your (our) best bet is to contact the Long Island City police department, so they can move fast on this thief before he/they disappear. He had to show proof of ID to get the mailbox, and to endorse the checks (one would hope).
I don't think there is a "business" to speak of. I think it's all hoey. This is one or two guys ripping people off, so BBB, etc. isn't really going to do a lot of good.
Folks, look - I'm buying a house right now. Can someone else take the lead on establishing a case with the proper authorities in Long Island City and post the contact info for everyone else? Thanks.
The phone number of the New York Police Department Computer Crimes Unit is
646-610-5397
They're available from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time.
I will do my best to call today.
hi, i am another one who was ripped off by this company or what ever it is. i would like to know what you got from the police .. i will try to contact the police also.
It's more of a jurisdictional thing. We'd all have to contact our local police and they would get in touch with the New York authorities.
My mom is going to call our local police some time today when she gets time and report it to them.
Let me know how it all goes for the rest of you.
Hopefully we can get our money back and if not that, maybe this guy or group of people can get thrown into prison.
