Left click on start, left click on Internet Explorer, and nothing. The start window closes and I go right back to my desktop. I can get on the web fine if I use a program that goes to the web, so my internet connection is good, So its a Explorer thing. I Have tried everything I can think of, please help!

Right click on the IE in the START menu. Select "remove from this list". You have the option to leave it off there or you can re-create a new shortcut and "drag and drop" it there. It's up to you.

and life goes on...

p.s. Why not just create a shortcut for the "Quick Start" area on your system tray? This way you don't need to go into START to invoke IE. :)

and life goes on...
