TOSHIBA PRODUCT INFORMATION

by stewart norrie - 6/20/06 12:05 PM

Early lamp failure on new d.l.p. sets. Call Toshiba 1-800-631-3811 or go on line with your model and serial #. Also lamp warrenty has been extended to 2 years. The replacement lamp will give you 40% more brightness and has a blue tint for better color balance. Toshiba will send you a new lamp fed-ex with a label so you can return old lamp Also It may be a good idea to buy a back up lamp from Toshiba If you buy from the factory the price is $199 which is a lot cheaper than other outlets have a nice warm day all stewart

Toshiba lamps

Not every unit gets this extended warranty. It depends on the serial number of the unit. There also is a place that sells replacement lamps for $187 shipped to your door. www.cablesnbulbs.com

If you don't see your model number, email the guy and he will get back to you with the info and a price.

Yess seriel # when I went to the Toshiba site and pulled up my Model# and clicked on product updates they asked for my serial # then showed my set to have the defective lamp and extended warrenty period Also If the replacement lamp is 40% brighter the picture should really pop good luck to you stewee

Ya all you folks that own a H.M or MX toshiba take note at the first sign of flickers or dimming picture call Toshiba I got my replacement lamp in 2 days and I notice a great improvement in color balance and the brightness is off the charts I had to turn lamp power to low and reset brightness and contrast to about 40%, also check you may have an extended warrenty to 2 years good luck to everyone and have a nice day
