Im lookin for a hdmi switcher.
Does anybody have strong emotions, pro or con about what's out there?
Denon 3805
Samsung 61inch DLP
Panasonic DVD s97s
xbox360
desktop cpu
300b tube amps
samsund sacd
Especially if the switcher is active. I personally would've gone with the 3806 and be done with it.
so lol, no i couldn't have purchased the 3806.
I'm just tired of doing the limbo through my wire jungle to switch cables.
what does it mean if the switch is active?
So cool even has a remote control. I use d.v.i. output from my hi-def box, and Denon d.v.d. to the d.v.i. switcher then a d.v.i. to h.d.m.i. cable from switcher to the t.v. This allows me to use the second h.d.m.i. input on my t.v. for a future blue ray player. And use the amp for audio switching, In closing this 3805 I have owned this 3805 for a year and still havent figured out all the adjustments really complex and the only fault I find is the remote control batteries have to be replaced every month anyway post back I would like to hear about your set up what kind of speakers etc good luck stewart
Denon 3805
Samsung 61 inch DLP
Klipsh reference speaker all around
Velodyne 1000 watt sub
300b tube amps
panasonic dvd s97s
samsung sacd
desktop pc
xbox 360
I bought a spl meter at radio shack to balance the speakers. I think the denon has its own but I prefered to do mine manually. I used the auto leveler for the sub. I haven't gotten the TV professionally tuned yet, lazy lol. As for the remote I use the harmony 880 which simplifies everything so much. The configuration is done on your cpu, very easy!
Now i will check out the switchers you guys recommended!

I just got the 2-1 HDMI splitter, and can''t tell any difference when it's direct or going thru the splitter. No complaints
