I am using an E-Machines 17 inch Flat panel LCD.
19" SCEPTRE
im still a belever in the cathode ray tube..after all i picked my screenname after it...i beleve that (and can actualy see in a side by side comparason) that CRT delevers better picture qualety than any fixed pixel display, LCD, plasma etc.. better contrast, color fidelity, responce time, sharper picture and the device itself looks better IMO, i like big boxy things. the price is still better, its more durable, and the WHOPPER...somthing that LCD will never be able to do correctly, MULTISYNC. this screen can display 480 or 2160 and anything in between nativly.
LCD still has some catching up to do before it will be on my desk or infront of my sofa.
Dell, 17" LCD
I have been using a Sony 19 inch for five years and it is great.
Big and heavy but still has a great picture.
It is very nice but wish I had a 19"!
I do have a dual moniter video card, so perhaps I should just buy a 19" and attach it to the other video port on my graphics card! Yeah, that's the thing to do... ![]()
I have an older 21" CRT and a fairly new Dell 20" X 24" that is fabulous! I love the dual monitors so much that I am thinking about getting a 3rd.

I use a 19 inch LCD flat panel made by Samsung (model 930b).
I use a Dell 20 inch wide screen format monitor and am very happy with it. It makes running two programs at once a lot easier.
HP vs 19 LCD and it works like it's supposed to.... and I can pick it up and move it unlike the CRT 19 I had before.
Dell 24" simple works great no hassleFantastic picture runs all the games i wanna run with n.p.'s
Back a bit -
I built a system and purch
the most up-to-date of the time.
Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 87txm 17in
never been disappointed and it has held up
thru this last rebuild with asus p5ad2 and asus
ax850 vid with multi vid capabilities.
cant even remember how old it is - early 90's ??
HP 21'' wide screen LCD, with an accompanying older Dell 17'' normal LCD.
The HP came with my HP media Center PC I purchased at Costco, and I am blown away by its image. I use the two monitors all day... The Dell has some subtle ''shadowing'' that goes away as an image warms up. The HP is simply perfect....
This is my first non-Dell purchase in years, and I am very happy with the monitor though not so with the HP computer. I have had a rough time with apparent software glitches, crashes, etc. All the crap the load onto the computer when you buy it. Norton seems to cause a lot of the problems. But the monitor is a wonder, and I am ecstatic with it.
