I had a problem accessing my addressbook when composing an email. A half dozen emails to Yahoo support remained unanswered. Yahoo's support seems to be no-existent.
I was using Mozilla Firefox as my default browser.
In this forum, some people reported solving (different) problems by using Netscape instead of IE as their browser. So I downloaded and installed Netscape 8.1 (free), made it my default browser, and voila! the problem is gone.
in my yahoo mail i can compose text but i can not send to others
'erron on page' massage showing on bottom title bar
i can not attach file
this due to spyware...
download X-cleaner from www.tinyurl.com/2bvur.com
click on run and let it scan ur system. when asked to creat restore point click on NO. once its done reboot and check if it works. if it works download Ad-aware from www.tinyurl.com/467LS get the updates and scan volume for ADS and preform a full system scan... if less then 500 objects detected remove and every thing should work fine. if not format/reinstall
All I did was clear my temporary internet files.
Fixed the problem right up.
I could not reply in Yahoo.
I also could not get to specialized places like ebay motors.
Sites like sports.ebay.com would not let me in.
They all work fine now.
Faxxxy!
"options" is in the upper right corner on the e-mail page. Then get to where you can change from GRAPHICS to TEXT format. This solved my problem. Hope it helps.
I couldn't forward, reply, move, or attach to messages in Yahoo mail. I also couldn't edit my options to text messages only. I went to Tools, Internet Options and deleted my temporary internet files.
This solved the problem!
I tried changing my Yahoo mail options to text, deleting all temporary internet files/cookies, and installing Java. But none of those options worked for me. Then I uninstalled then reinstall Internet Explorer and that fixed the problem. Hope it works for you too.
I had this problem last year on two old Win 98 PCs, and fixed it by changing an internet setting called MTU (max transmission unit), to the lowest possible. It worked. (I used a freeware called drtcp (doctor tcp)).
Now I got the same problem on a recently acquired Pentium 4 PC running XP pro (and I forgot how I fixed it last year!!). Not only Yahoo was failing, but bits of eBay too. Not an IE problem, because I use Firefox too.
So I tried everything in this thread, to no avail (except Netscape, but I don't really want a third browser). I started cleaning my PC with an excellent tool called Tune Up Utilities, and in the optimisation settings, it told me my MTU was badly set. I ran the clean up, it reset MTU to another value (I don't know what it chose!) and ... hey presto, Yahoo works properly. (You can get a one month free trial of this software, which means you can fix your Yahoo problem for free if you don't want to buy it).
I'm sure there are other freeware and sharewares, but whatever route you choose, do look at your MTU settings
I'm also facing the same problem of Cannot reply, forward or compose in Yahoo! mail
please suggest me to restore my mail account

After I access the email, I couldn't reply, compose or even check mail again
Can I have a solution to my Yahoo mail problem? I can't send a message because it doesn't have a message box nor attach files. It always said 'error in page'.Thank you.
