Setup stops responding with 34 minutes remaining Acer comp

I faced the same problem too, and try delete all partition, and create new partition, format the hard disk, and found not bad sector. it is ok to install win 98, but when to install win xp, it faced the same problem . anyone have solve their problem, pls mail me the solution, thank you very much
