I had the same problem: It was Norton Go Back
by gregorysreid - 6/8/06 9:40 AMNot sure if you're running Norton Go Back. However, my hard drive would NOT stop accessing with this package running. Norton notes this as a 'feature' of Go Back on its website.
When I uninstalled Go Back, everything 'Went Back' to normal.
