CD/DVD drive won't install
by sthammons - 5/19/06 9:39 AMLike the USB flash drive install problem I have a problem installing a CD/DVD internaal drive. It will install but only show up in device manager in CD/DVD section. It doesn't show up in My Computer or Disk Manager(so I can't try to assign a new address). I've tried different CD/DVD drives and uninstalled manually from device manager. Using Windows XP Pro.

I'm not sure what the solution would be for this problem, and since this forum doesn't get much traffic outside those responding to the newsletter question of the week, I'd suggest reposting in another forum such as Windows XP or Computer Help. Hopefully someone there will be able to figure it out.
