...on "MySpace". In those cases, they are providing samples for you to download and it may be perfectly legal.. If you're downloading copyrighted music posted on the site by one of your friends, then it probably isn't legal.
As to safety, "MySpace" is an extremely risky situation.. Don't give other members personal data and be extremely cautious of anything that you download there.. If you haven't watched the news and read the multitude of articles about the predators that visit "MySpace", then you aren't paying attention.
