Creative all the way

by mp3man - 4/30/06 11:40 AM In reply to: which is better Apple iPod Video vs Creative zen vision by kmdiddy

My name is dan. I am the administrator of my website which is currently in construction- freewebs.com/mp3players. My team has been reasearching mp3players for over a year now. The Creative Labs company makes the best mp3players for every catagory. For the Ipod video and the Creative Zen Vision:M, The Zen wins by a mile. I currently own one and it is the best. The ipod's screen has 65,000 colors. The Zen has 262,000 colors. This means that there will be more color and vibrance to the video and pictures. The Zen also has 4hrs of battery life for video. The ipod has only 2. The Zen has an fm tuner/recorder, voice recorder and you can set pictures as your backrounds. The zen also supports more formats for videos which means that it will be easier to get videos on your zen. The navigations is also so much easier. I went to the bottom of 1,000 tracks in 4 seconds. Then we tried it with an ipod. It took 12 seconds. The Zen also feels better in the hand than the ipod. To me, the ipod feels too thin. THe Zen has the perfect width. If you have any mroe questions about mp3players, email me at musicmanx517@yahoo.com. I know how to get movies on the zen if you buy one too. Thanks. IPODS SUCK!

Yes, the Creative player is better

by HeroZero - 5/2/06 12:52 PM In reply to: Creative all the way by mp3man

As Dan stated, its far superior in specs and features. I own one, I love it...the screen is fantastic and puts my neighbor's iPod screen to shame. Also I have been very impressed with the audio quality and tv- out resolution. Although I dont listen to the radio much, its still a feature you get which u dont with the iPod. Plus the battery life is better for video playback...All in all....its a better player, the Vision: M is sweet.

I call BULL on your scroll test

by daveworld - 5/5/06 3:45 PM In reply to: Creative all the way by mp3man

It is faster to scroll down to 1,000 songs with the circular scroll wheel than with the vertical touch pad. With the iPods, with every continuous scroll around the circle, it picks up speed. With the Zen's vertical pad, you have pick up your finger with each scroll.

Unless the Zen is too sensitive ;-) :-)

Actually i have one and ur wrong

by mp3man - 5/6/06 9:46 AM In reply to: I call BULL on your scroll test by daveworld

With the zen vision m, you can hold down the touch pad at the bottom or top and it goes really fast. Also if you just tap at the top, it goes directly to the bottom of all the tracks. You can a.lso scoll through the tracks by letter. If you press right, and you scoll you scoll by the first letter of the artist/track. a,b,c,d...For example. if this is what your music looks like.

Aby
Avy
BOB
Bobby
BobBo
Cat
Dog

It will start at Aby and skip directly to BOB, then to Cat and Dog.I hope you understand .Hard to explain. I have actually tested them out. The zen is faster.

The Zen may be faster MP3Man, but the iPod is for from slow when it comes to scrolling also.

Too bad you don't know what you're talking about, moron. You really think consumers would have to pick up their finger every time each scroll? Do your research before posting.

If you bring your finger down to the bottom of the touch pad and hold it, it'll scroll very quickly
