I'm running a Dell 8400 with windows XP Pro Media Center 2005.
I have a icon in my quick launch section. When i clicked on it while on the web etc. it would give me my normal Desktop with icons and picture.
Now for some reason when i click on the Desktop Icon it goes to a folder (named "Desktop") with thumbnail Icon's that are part of my Desktop.
How do i get it back to where i want it?
Thank you
and then left click properties. Possibly the settings inadvertantly got changed.
No Help, it still takes me to the folder with the Desktop Icons.
Thank you for trying
tbird1938, Go to the link below and under the letter "S" scroll down to "Show Desktop Icon is Missing" and follow the instructions either the manual fix or the automated fix then if that icon you currently have that is messed up is just a shortcut right click it and delete it.
