Discuss the poll for the Monday, March 7th AnchorDesk newsletter (http://www.cnet.com/2001-6033_1-0.html):
Do you think cell phone radiation is hazardous to your health?
1) Yes
2) No
3) Maybe
The cellphone's transmitting power is not greater than my Wi-Fi adaptor, Microwave Oven, CRT Monitor or cordless telephone.
Power throughput for these devices (except maybe the Microwave, but i'm not sticking my head in it) is just too low to be directly linked to health hazards.
Do your own research, Google terms like: "Mobile phone radiation", "Blood-brain barrier radiation" Long-term, low level radiation exposure". You will see studies funded by the mobile phone companies saying there is inconclusive evidence, and you will see some independent World-wide studies saying different.
Specially when the antenna is shoved into your ear-drum.
Ouch!! Just kidding.
P.S. Too bad all cell phones are not banned while driving and using them in a motor vehicle. How important is your call anyway!?
Get a life!!! CRASH!!! OOPS, Sorry I just crashed into your vehicle while using my precious cell phone while driving my new SUV and slurping a coffee.
Just do not position your hot coffee in your lap the same as Willma the idiot did! :·)

What is a cell phone, is this what detainees use in the penitentiary?
Yes, Read George Carlo's book Cell phone dangers
There are 5 cases in thes supreme court right now of brain cancer by cell phone.
You wont see the effects when you're still healthy.
Believe me, when you spend more than 8 hours using your cellphone, it actually dries up your blood cell (brain).
I'm not sure how it works, but I agree that any "Radiation" wont bring any good to you.
Imagine the 'radiation' is sucking away all the minerals in your blood and brain... ![]()
This subject has been hashed over thousands of times, it has been studied worldwide over and over and the facts keep showing no radiation hazard what so ever, the people that wont let this die are just plain uninformed and are the same group that beleive that Aliens are amoung us and that some comet will carry them to another world, read some meaningfull litrature on the subject, Scientific American would be a good start, they have had several articles on the subject, if you are worried about squash rot then dont use a cell phone but quit whining.
Cellhones work on 850Mhz & 1.9Ghz bands in the US and nearby spectrum in other countries. These frequencies at cellphone power levels don't concern me.
I'm much more anxious about bluetooth headsets - since they use the 2.4Ghz spectrum microwave ovens use to cook organic material. Admittedly the power levels are DRASTICALLY different, but given the proximity of the headset to the 'gray matter' and the prolonged exposure times, I'm still less than sanguine about using buetooth headsets.
Yes, cell phone radiation is damaging to one's health, look at this study:
http://mybiopro.com/Research_Cellphone_Radiation.aspx?ID=livefree
The long term damage is unknown at this point, I have a safety EMF chip on my cell phone and it blocks most harmful radiation. YES, YES and YES it is harmful!
