With c|net doing VOD channel, will the spell the end of a pure audio show for Buzz Out Loud? Why shoot twice when you can just shoot the show and can an audio podcast along with the video?
But will it CHANGE things?
(Oh! And can we SEE Earthlink guy?)

Cnets current VOD is very time limited and only works when I'm on-line.
Podcasts are loger, more in depth and travel with me.
Please explain how one affects the other.
Have I missed something here ???
Is BOL going to do a videoCast of some sort?
I found a news posting saying that c|net was announcing a full on video-on-demand channel. I see Tom's little video requesting c|net related passion. So, if you're doing an audio podcast at a channel that's doing a whole new video venture, and if Molly's already doing a videocast with The Buzz Report, it strikes me that BOL will probably go video, with audio still supplied for the commuting crowd.
I'm cool with that, but sometimes this changes the "flavor" of the show. For instance, I listen to Digg Nation, and they often reference visual aspects, and mention what will be added in later. Well, I never bother getting the video, because it's two guys on a couch for most of the show. I'm just hoping the quality of the audio program doesn't become a ghost of a video show.
But with all that said, I know the crew are great at delivering sound media products, so whatever happens, it'll probably be good stuff. -- Chris...
