Busted SVP tech aide! The SVP site says the 8630 is 6megpix,

SVP misleading again! Tiger Direct says it is 6megapixel,

I think it is the consensus here that claiming a resolution based on interpolation, when the interpolation is not explicitly stated, is false advertising.
